Electromagnetic Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct design and simulation for the company’s electromagnetic actuators, including coreless motors, permanent magnet brushless motors and other special motors; organize and compile relevant design documents.

2. Conduct research and development of new actuators for the company.

3. Lead motor prototyping, trial production, testing and other related work; solve various issues during testing and trial production.

4. Develop suppliers and provide guidance on process adjustment to suppliers when necessary.

5. Assist cross-functional teams in analyzing and solving electromagnetic-related issues, including thermal analysis, NVH analysis, electronic control analysis, etc.

Job Requirements

1. Master's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electric Drives, or a related discipline.

2. Solid understanding of electric machine theory, electromagnetic field analysis, and motor design principles.

3. Proficient in at least one mainstream electromagnetic simulation software, such as Ansys Maxwell or JMAG.

4. Familiar with motor performance testing and evaluation methodologies.

5. Experience with motor structures, magnetic materials, motor manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques will be an advantage.
