Drinks Stall Assistant

Job Summary

You will brew and serve traditional local coffee, tea, and other drinks while managing orders and transactions. You will maintain cleanliness, restock supplies, and follow food hygiene and safety practices in a busy, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Brew and serve traditional local coffee, tea, and other drinks following standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure consistent quality
• Take customer orders and handle payment transactions accurately using the POS system
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the stall, tools, and work area throughout the day
• Restock ingredients, cups, ice, and other supplies promptly to support smooth operations
• Perform opening and closing routines, including tidying the stall and preparing stock for the day
• Follow food hygiene rules, safety practices, and internal procedures to ensure compliance and customer safety
• Assist with additional tasks as directed by the supervisor to support team needs
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining clear communication and a warm, service-minded attitude
• Demonstrate reliability and punctuality while collaborating well within a team

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior experience working at a coffee shop, drinks stall, or in the food and beverage (F&B) industry is advantageous but not required
• Willingness to learn and become comfortable making local coffee and tea
• Food Safety Course Level 1 certification is preferred

Other Information

• Work schedule includes weekends and public holidays with appropriate compensation
• Must be comfortable standing for extended periods and performing light lifting as needed
