Network Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Infrastructure Engineer with advanced network knowledge to join our professional services team.

As a Network Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing our clients' network and ensuring the performance of their traffic are optimized and secure.

You will be responsible for implementing and managing WAN optimization solutions, conducting performance assessments as well as providing expertise in mitigating network performance issues.

You will be trained in Network security solutions and other technologies as required.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and maintain WAN optimization solutions to optimize clients' network performance.
• Implement network Infra and security policies, standards and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure targeted network traffic are optimized and secured.
• Stay updated with the latest endpoint security threats, vulnerabilities and industry trends and proactively recommend and implement appropriate countermeasures.
• Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams during network incidents and investigations.
• Document WAN optimizer configurations, processes and procedures.
• Train in network security solutions and other technologies as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
• Professional certifications for Network Infrastructure products, certification for Riverbed is favored.
• Familiarity with managing/implementing Network management platforms and tools at enterprise level.
• Understanding of network traffic and their protocols.
• Familiarity with security standards and frameworks (NIST, CIS) and their application for network products.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve network issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
