Bicycle mechanic/retail asst

Job Summary

• We are a homegrown brand seeking hands-on team members who enjoy working on bikes, provide friendly customer service, and strive to exceed customer expectations. Opportunities exist to learn shop floor management and advance to shop lead. Work schedule is strictly Monday to Saturday, 11: 30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and tune up new folding and road bicycles to ensure quality and safety before sale
• Analyze and troubleshoot bicycle issues to recommend appropriate maintenance services
• Perform bicycle repairs, replace parts, and provide accurate service quotes to customers
• Manage inventory to maintain adequate stock levels and support smooth shop operations
• Use PC systems to process sales transactions efficiently at Point of Sales
• Listen actively to customers to identify problems and develop effective solutions
• Deliver friendly, customer-focused service to exceed customer expectations and build loyalty

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail experience demonstrating reliability and responsibility
• Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail for bicycle servicing tasks

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working specifically with bicycles is advantageous
• Positive, customer-oriented attitude with a willingness to serve and assist others
• Dependable team player with punctuality and a proactive approach to work
• Must be able to work in Singapore
