Account Executive

The Accounts Executive reports to the Finance Manager and is responsible for the below:

General Bookeeping & Reporting:

• Assist in month-end closing, audit preparation, and compliance reporting.
• Identify areas for process improvement and automation in financial reporting and analysis.
• Work on cash flow management and financial risk assessment.

Project Accounting:

• Track and analyze project costs, revenue, and margins.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate budgeting and cost control.
• Monitor progress claims, variations, and project financial performance.
• Assist in the preparation of project financial reports and variance analysis.

Financial Modelling & Data Analytics:

• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, cost efficiencies, and revenue opportunities.
• Automate and improve financial reporting using Excel, Power Bl, or other analytics tools.
• Provide insights to support management in decision-making and strategic planning.

To be a good fit, you would possess these qualities and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounts, Finance or related field.
• Min. 2-3 years of relevant working experience in related field, preferably with project accounting experience.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to propose alternative solutions.
• Detailed and meticulous
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
