Accountant, Group Subsidiaries

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensures smooth monthly closing of accounts for subsidiaries and joint venture companies.
• Prepare annual tax computation and monthly tax provision.
• Prepare monthly Goods & Service Tax (GST) reports and analysis/computations for quarterly GST filing.
• Involves in year end audit and handles all audit related matters.
• Based on budget information from source departments, review budget figures and tax computations for submission to Group Reporting.
• Provides accounting service to JV partners or investors.
• Prepares monthly management reports for Senior Management, joint venture partners or investors.
• Oversees and provides guidance to 1 to 2 team members.
• Handles day to day operation enquiries and requests from managers and external parties.
• Review management accounts from overseas accounting agents.
• Ensures submission of financials to Singapore Department of Statistics or any government authorities for statistical survey.

Job Requirements:

• ACCA / Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 5 years of experience in closing of accounts
• Knowledge in GST and tax provision
• Preferably with basic knowledge of property industry and knowledge of SAP
• Preferably with supervisory skills and experience
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Team player
