Corporate/B2B Sales Executive

Join our growing B2B (with outdoor sales meetings) Sales Team.

Elm Tree Books is a wholesaler and retailer of children’s books, toys and lifestyle products, supplying major bookstores and retailers locally and regionally. We are also expanding into snacks distribution.

Salary: $2,500–$3,500 per month
Basic salary + commission + transport allowance.

Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience.

Normal Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6.00pm

You will normally work from the office in the morning for sales follow-ups, quotations and coordination, and visit clients at their offices, stores and business locations in the afternoon.

Responsibilities

• Service and build strong relationships with existing customers in Singapore and overseas.
• Visit and develop B2B customers including bookstores, baby stores, supermarkets, schools and other retailers.
• Conduct regular outdoor client visits, introduce products and sales meetings.
• Follow up on leads and establish new customer accounts.
• Achieve assigned sales targets.
• Support product replenishment and merchandising at customers’ stores when required.
• Develop New Customers
• Assist with fairs, product displays and event set-up.
• Occasional overseas business travel may be required.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• GCE O-Level or Diploma or relevant experience.
• At least 1 year of sales experience (including meeting customers at their locations) in consumer products.
• Experience in children’s books or toys or other lifestyle products will be an advantage, but not essential.
• Comfortable meeting clients independently and travelling around Singapore for sales visits.
• Self-motivated, independent and target-driven.
• Good communication and relationship-building skills.
• Able to use MS Word and Excel.
• Good team player with attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision.
