ROLE
Content Operations & Social Media Distribution Specialist’s role is to manage, localize, distribute, and optimize content across multiple social media platforms for both international and local audiences. Beyond content distribution, the role will also support content effectiveness through basic production and performance analysis.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage content distribution and daily operations across multiple platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X (Twitter), Xiaohongshu, Douyin, and Bilibili.
• Adapt content for each platform through localization and bilingual copywriting (English and Mandarin).
• Perform basic video editing (cutting, subtitling, adding music, simple color grading, etc).
• Track and analyze platform performance data regularly and refine distribution strategies based on insights.
• Monitor trending topics and platform updates in both Chinese and international digital spaces and propose content ideas that align with audience interests.
• Ensure content is delivered consistently and on schedule, maintaining brand voice across all channels.

REQUIREMENTS

• English proficiency: fluent / professional working level (able to write and edit content in English for social media).
• Fluent Mandarin with deep understanding of Chinese internet culture and social media ecosystems (Xiaohongshu, Douyin, Bilibili, WeChat, etc).
• Prior experience living or studying in China is a plus but not required — what matters is a genuine familiarity with Chinese digital platforms and user behavior.
• Based in Singapore (this is an on-site role; remote work is not available).
• Basic video editing skills (any of CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or similar tools).
• Detail‑oriented, strong execution ability, and a good “internet sense” —understanding trends, memes, and community tone across platforms.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior experience managing overseas social media accounts (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) or creating content for global audiences.
• A personal social media account with a meaningful following or demonstrated engagement.
• Familiarity with SEO and platform recommendation algorithms.
