Bridging Training International and Bridging Academy (registered with MOE since 2013) is a training company that supports Chinese- and Japanese-speaking families with international school placement, scholarship preparation, and academic support across the MOE, IBDP, IGCSE, and A-Level curricula.

We are growing our primary school teaching team and are looking for a passionate Science Specialist Teacher to guide young learners through the MOE Primary Science syllabus.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Primary School Science Specialist Teacher to deliver engaging, syllabus-aligned science lessons to primary-level students (P3–P6) following the Singapore MOE Science curriculum. You will play a key role in helping students build strong scientific foundations, develop inquiry skills, and prepare confidently for school-based assessments and the PSLE Science paper.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver structured lessons aligned with the MOE Primary Science syllabus
  • Prepare or recommend teaching materials, worksheets, and assessments tailored to students' individual learning needs
  • Track and report on student progress, providing regular feedback to parents
  • Support students in developing scientific reasoning, experimental skills, and PSLE exam techniques
  • Differentiate instruction for students of varying abilities, including non-native English speakers
  • Collaborate with our academic team to align science instruction with students' broader learning plans
  • Maintain a positive, encouraging classroom environment that builds student confidence and curiosity

Requirements

  • Degree in Education, Science, or a related field (Science background strongly preferred)
  • Prior experience teaching MOE Primary Science syllabus (school or tuition/enrichment setting)
  • Strong understanding of PSLE Science requirements and marking schemes
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin or Japanese proficiency is a strong advantage (for liaising with our client families)
  • Patient, engaging teaching style suited to primary-aged learners
  • Reliable, organised, and able to prepare quality lesson materials independently
  • Prior tutoring/enrichment centre experience preferred; NIE-trained or MOE teaching experience is a plus
