Accountant (Ship Management)

Our client is a Shipmanagement Industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Accountant to be part of their Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central - easily accessible

Duties of Accountant:

• Maintain financial accounts for assigned vessels and ensure accurate record keeping.
• Process invoices, payments, and vessel-related expenses to support timely financial operations.
• Review and verify Disbursement Accounts (DA) and port invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Handle accounting for crew payroll, provisions, and port expenses.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, cost analyses, and expense summaries.
• Track vessel operating expenses (OPEX), investigate variances, and support cost control initiatives.
• Assist in budget monitoring and forecasting activities in collaboration with technical teams.
• Monitor vessel cash flow requirements and coordinate timely funding requests for operational needs.
• Liaise with technical, crewing, and operations departments to ensure smooth financial processes.
• Record financial transactions accurately and maintain proper supporting documentation.

Requirements:

• Min 2 years experience in accounting experience in ship management or vessel accounting
