This is an opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to gain broad exposure across legal, compliance and corporate governance matters, working closely with senior stakeholders across Singapore and India.

As the first dedicated Legal Counsel in Singapore, you’ll support the business across commercial contracts, legal advisory, disputes, maritime claims and regulatory matters, while also playing an active role in implementing and managing key governance and compliance initiatives.

Key Requirements

• Qualified lawyer called to the Singapore Bar or UK Bar, with prior in-house legal experience. Junior Legal Counsel candidates looking to broaden their commercial and regional exposure are encouraged to apply.
• Good experience across commercial contracts, legal advisory and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience implementing and managing corporate governance and compliance matters within an operating company, including Whistleblowing, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Code of Conduct and Sanctions Compliance.
• Maritime, transportation or another commercial operating environment would be advantageous.
