Senior Legal - Corporate Structuring - Data Protection - Technology/Gaming Industry

Job Description

• Lead regulatory, licensing, renewal, and compliance matters across relevant jurisdictions.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise on market entry, restrictions, and compliance requirements.
• Advise on group corporate structure, governance, M&A, and restructuring matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial, licensing, marketing, vendor, and third-party agreements.
• Lead legal due diligence for transactions and key business initiatives.
• Manage the Group’s IP strategy, protection, and cross-border data protection compliance.
• Establish and maintain group-wide legal, risk, and compliance frameworks.
• Manage disputes, litigation, regulatory investigations, and employment-related legal matters.
• Build legal processes, templates, playbooks, and training programmes, while managing external counsel.
• Provide commercially focused legal advice on business initiatives and support ad-hoc projects as the Group grows.

Job Requirements

• Law degree from a recognised university and qualification in Singapore, Malaysia, the UK, or another common law jurisdiction.
• 5–8 years of legal experience, in-house and/or private practice.
• Strong knowledge of IP/TMT, regulatory matters, and licensing.
• Proven commercial contract drafting and negotiation experience, preferably in technology or gaming.
• Experience in technology, gaming, or digital services is preferred; corporate structuring and cross-border data protection experience are advantageous.
