Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Security Specialist to support and manage security operations across Southeast Asia (SEA). Reporting under the guidance of the Associate Security Operations Manager, the successful candidate will help ensure the regional security function is aligned with organizational objectives while supporting daily operations, incident response, and risk mitigation efforts.
The role requires a strong background in security operations, crisis management, or asset protection within a multinational environment, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic operational setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the security function for Southeast Asia under the guidance of the Associate Security Operations Manager, ensuring alignment with overall organizational objectives.
- Develop and implement daily operational plans and tactical security strategies with minimal supervision.
- Focus on risk reduction, incident response, and minimizing exposure to liabilities across the region.
- Support the monitoring and assessment of security risks that may impact employees, assets, facilities, or business operations.
- Coordinate and respond to security incidents, escalating issues in accordance with established procedures.
- Support crisis management and business continuity efforts when required.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and incident records.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, regional teams, and external partners to support operational security needs.
- Provide timely updates and recommendations on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regional developments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of security processes, procedures, and response capabilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in security operations, crisis management, asset protection, or a multinational or regional corporate environment
- Diploma or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong understanding of operational security principles and regional risk management.
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to incidents or evolving situations.
- Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
