UAV Engineer (Electrical/Electronic) | Boon Lay | Up to $3500 | 5 Days #9398

• 1 year contract (renewable/convertible)

• Working Location: Boon Lay

• Working Hours: Mon-Fri (8am to 5.45pm)

• Salary range: $3500 + Completion Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electronic hardware components, including power distribution boards, sensor interfaces, communication modules, and control electronics

• Perform system integration of UAV subsystems such as flight controllers, ESCs, motors, GPS modules, telemetry radios, cameras, gimbals, and mission payloads

• Develop schematics, printed circuit board (PCB) layouts, wiring harnesses, and connector interfaces

• Conduct power budgeting, battery management analysis, and implement EMI/EMC mitigation, grounding, and signal integrity practices

• Support embedded systems bring-up, debugging, and hardware-software integration activities

• Plan and execute laboratory and field testing to evaluate system performance, reliability, and environmental compliance

• Diagnose hardware issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions

• Manage component selection, bill of materials (BOM), lifecycle considerations, and supplier coordination

• Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, including design files, test reports, and interface control documents

• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, safety, and quality standards

Job Descriptions:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or a related discipline

• 1- 2 years of experience in drone assembly roles will be an advantage

• Candidates without experience may apply as training will be provided

• Sound understanding of electronic design principles, including sensor interfaces, power distribution, and communication modules

• Hands-on experience in soldering and working with PCBAs or electronic test boards

• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, or Python is an advantage

• Familiarity with UAV systems and architecture is an advantage
