Job Description – Front of House Crew

We are looking for friendly and service-oriented Front of House Crew members to provide guests with a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. The successful candidate will assist with customer service, order-taking, food service and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.

Present menus and explain dishes, promotions and available options.

Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the point-of-sale system.

Serve food and beverages promptly and according to service standards.

Set up, clear and reset tables efficiently.

Check on guests and respond promptly to their requests.

Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally and refer complex matters to a supervisor.

Process cash, card and other approved payments accurately.

Assist with reservations, queues and seating arrangements.

Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure accurate and timely orders.

Prepare and maintain service stations, utensils and supplies.

Keep the dining area, counters and customer-facing areas clean and organised.

Follow food hygiene, workplace safety and customer-service procedures.

Assist with opening and closing duties.

Carry out other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Restaurant Manager.

Requirements

Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is helpful but not essential.

Friendly, approachable and service-oriented.

Able to communicate clearly with customers and team members.

Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.

Good teamwork and time-management skills.

Able to handle payments accurately.

Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as scheduled.

Working Hours

5-day work week

44 working hours per week

Shift hours will be scheduled according to operational requirements.
