Construction Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Construction Manager to join Morimatsu Pharmadule (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services to support the company's construction operations. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, supplier management experience, and a deep understanding of construction-related procurement processes.

Job Responsibilities

• Overall site management for construction and installation of Singapore project;
• Develop detailed site execution plan;
• Develop site execution schedule, including milestones;
• Define site safety management procedures and measures, and ensure the effective implementation of safety regulations;
• Responsible for organizing site meetings and reporting project status, including progress, quality, weekly reports, etc;
• Responsible for planning and management of Singapore authority related permits, such as Building plan approval, TOP, etc;
• Responsible for coordinate with professional engineers, such as RE/RTO, RI, etc;
• Responsible for the management of subcontractors;
• Dealing with authority officer for inspection or other activities;
• Coordination with owners, main contractor, subcontractors, material suppliers, etc. to ensure timely handling of site issues; and
• all other tasks and duties as may be assigned to the Employee from time to time.

Role Requirements (Must-Have Skills)

• Bachelor’s degree in building or construction management
• Minimum 8 years of industry building field/pharma industry construction management experience
• Proven ability to negotiate favorable commercial terms with suppliers
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in procurement systems and relevant tools
• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and construction standards
• Willing to work overtime or weekends if required by site progress
