About the role
The Clinical Psychologist (Adult) will work collaboratively with General Practitioners at IMC to provide comprehensive psychological assessment and evidence-based treatment to adults with a range of psychological and emotional wellbeing needs, particularly depression and anxiety. The role involves psychological assessment, formulation and diagnosis, development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, and ongoing therapeutic support and counselling.
Key responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including clinical interviews, mental status examinations and psychological testing
Assess and diagnose a range of psychological conditions, where appropriate
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Provide individual, couples, and family therapy
Provide ongoing support, monitoring and counselling for patients experiencing mood and anxiety-related concerns
Collaborate with other professionals to provide a coordinated approach to care
Assess patient progress and modify treatment programs accordingly; communicate with and counsel family members as appropriate
Document therapy in accordance with policies and procedures regarding medical records; implement and adhere to policies which ensure patient confidentiality
Work in collaboration with General Practitioners within the organization to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Contribute to develop and implement psychological aspects of Lifestyle Medicine services
About you
Masters' degree in Clinical Psychology with practical training
At least 5 years of related experience in hospital or clinical setting
Experience working in private practice
Registered and/or eligible for registration with the relevant professional body in Singapore
Embraces innovation in the delivery and approach to emotional health and psychological services
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills
Proficiency in cross-cultural settings
Ability to maintain and ensure timely and high-quality clinical documentation
Proficient in MS Office and clinic patient management systems
