Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Our esteemed client in the Environmental Services industry is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Mechanical Maintenance Technician
• Location: Tuas (Transport provided)
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri, 8am to 5pm; Sat, 8am to 12pm) – Will change to 12 hours rotating shift after 3 months
• Salary Package: Up to $2,700 + OT + Shift Allowances + Transport Allowance

Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment to ensure smooth and reliable operations.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment to minimise downtime.
• Perform servicing, overhaul, and maintenance of pumps, motors, blowers, fans, and other plant machinery.
• Install and commission new equipment while ensuring proper operational performance.
• Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and daily work logs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and company standards.

Job Requirements:

• At least NITEC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, process plant, or industrial environment.
• Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shift after training.
