Fashion Retail Assistant (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Job Summary

The Fashion Retail Assistant supports the daily operations of the store while providing excellent customer service. The role involves assisting customers, promoting products, maintaining store presentation, handling stock, and supporting the team in achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable fashion products.
• Assist customers with product selection, sizing, fitting, and styling.
• Achieve individual and store sales targets.
• Process sales transactions accurately through the POS system.
• Handle cash, card payments, exchanges, and refunds according to company procedures.
• Maintain attractive product displays and ensure the store meets visual merchandising standards.
• Replenish stock and maintain accurate product displays and sizing.
• Assist with stock receiving, tagging, transfers, and inventory counts.
• Keep the sales floor, fitting rooms, and stockroom clean and organized.
• Stay updated on current promotions, new arrivals, and product information.
• Handle customer questions and complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
• Support store opening and closing procedures.
• Assist the Store Manager and team with daily operational tasks.
• Follow company policies, loss-prevention procedures, and workplace safety standards.

Requirements

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Fashion retail experience is an advantage.
• Friendly, confident, and customer-focused personality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about fashion and styling.
• Comfortable working towards sales targets.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
• Willing to work retail hours, weekends, and public holiday (off days on rotation basis).

Part-time Working Hours And Rate

• Able to work retail operating hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Available to work a minimum of 3 days per week.
• Hourly rate: $12 - $14 per hour
