Supply Chain Management Officer

The role

You will join the Supply Chain Management team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials and products across warehousing, inventory, transportation and distribution activities. You will manage third-party logistics providers, monitor operational performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service, cost efficiency and operational excellence. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will also champion workplace safety, compliance and digitalisation initiatives to support reliable supply chain operations and business objectives.

The daily

• Plan, coordinate and oversee end-to-end supply chain activities covering warehousing, inventory management, transportation and physical distribution.
• Monitor inventory levels and warehouse utilisation to maintain inventory accuracy, optimal stock levels and efficient storage management.
• Manage third-party logistics (3PL) providers and contractors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Coordinate material movements and deliveries to support efficient operations and on-time customer fulfilment.
• Identify and implement cost-saving, process improvement, digitalisation and automation initiatives to improve supply chain performance.
• Prepare operational reports, conduct data analysis and provide insights to support business decisions and performance improvement.
• Promote Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards through contractor safety management, risk assessments, safety inspections, incident investigations and follow-up actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements and quality management standards.

The essentials

• Possess a recognised Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics or warehouse operations; experience managing 3PL providers and continuous improvement projects will be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of end-to-end supply chain operations, inventory management, logistics performance management and Workplace Safety & Health requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to interpret operational data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Self-motivated, proactive and collaborative, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills and a commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
