Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Chief Executive Officer to lead the strategic development and sustainable growth of our education services business in Singapore.

The CEO will have overall responsibility for business strategy, financial performance, organisational development, service quality and long-term expansion. The successful candidate should possess substantial senior management experience, strong commercial judgement and the ability to lead a service-oriented organisation in a competitive and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s long-term business strategy, annual operating plan and growth priorities.

• Assume overall responsibility for the company’s profit and loss, budgeting, financial performance and resource allocation.

• Lead the management team and establish clear business, operational and service-quality targets.

• Evaluate new education programmes, business opportunities, partnerships and expansion initiatives.

• Strengthen student enrolment, customer acquisition, retention and revenue growth strategies.

• Oversee the company’s sales, marketing, operations, customer service and administrative functions.

• Build strategic partnerships with schools, education providers, corporate partners and other relevant stakeholders.

• Develop opportunities for regional and cross-border business cooperation where commercially appropriate.

• Ensure that the company’s operations comply with applicable Singapore regulations, employment requirements and internal governance standards.

• Establish effective internal controls, reporting systems, risk-management processes and performance indicators.

• Recruit, develop and retain capable managers and employees while fostering a professional and accountable organisational culture.

• Represent the company in discussions with business partners, professional advisers, government agencies and other external stakeholders.

• Report regularly to the Board or shareholders on financial performance, operational progress, risks and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Education or a related discipline.

• At least 15 years of professional experience, including substantial experience in senior management or executive leadership.

• Proven experience in corporate strategy, business development, operational management and organisational leadership.

• Experience managing profit and loss, budgets, commercial performance and business growth.

• Experience leading a service-based, education, training, enrichment or multi-site operating business would be advantageous.

• Strong ability to evaluate business opportunities, manage risk and make commercially sound decisions.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage senior internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical and decision-making skills.

• Ability to operate effectively in a multicultural and international business environment.
