Applications Engineer (FDC for Semicon Fabs) for APAC

Job Overview
Responsible for assisting with advanced applications related to company's FDC. To offer technical assistance to field staff and clients. Possess an in-depth understanding of the processes and challenges that the solution is intended to solve.

To work autonomously and independently to devise and implement solutions with minimal supervision.

Job Description

• To demonstrate, deploy, support & upgrade the company's software on wide range of semiconductor process equipment.
• To create the company's software recipes and data analysis of tool based sensors (data), the company's and client's sensors for the purpose of FDC.
• To provide oral and written feedback on the applications work (which include troubleshooting, development of recipe and installation procedures to customers.
• To identify new process areas whereby the existing software can add value to customers
• To provide extensive training to customers' process owners on the application of the FDC system for monitoring and troubleshooting process issues, ensuring seamless integration and optimal utilization.
• To convey the capabilities of the software to potential customers
• To serve as the Site Lead for clients
• To support other offerings of software provided by the company

REQUIREMENT

• Sound knowledge of Semiconductor processes and OEM Tools
• Minimum 2 years work experience in the Semiconductor Manufacturing Industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Adaptable to various field situations
• Build strong rapport with internal and external customers
• Strong analytical & critical thinking skills
• Software/operations delivery & organisation change management
• Able to coach other Applications Engineers
• Stakeholder (internal & external) management skills
• Proficiency in MS office and basic SQL
• Familiarity with C++ is an advantage but not a must
• Confident to present & deliver information to group of audiences
• Ability to manage stress and maintain composure
• Must be available to provide immediate remote or on-site support for urgent cases
• Comfortable to wear full cleanroom suit when required

Travel: Domestic travel as & when required to fulfil customers' requirement and also approximately 30% international travel across APAC regions to support demos and/or deployments and also for on-the-job training

EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science or related disciplines
