LOGISTICS PLANNER

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily logistics operations of the distribution company. This role ensures efficient movement of goods from warehouse to customers, while maintaining compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound logistics operations.

• Arrange trucking, shipping, and delivery schedules to meet customer requirements.

• Liaise with transport providers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure smooth operations.

• Track and report logistics performance, costs, and efficiency metrics.

• Handle problem‑solving for delays, damages, or unexpected logistics issues.

• Maintain communication with sales and procurement teams to align logistics with business needs.

• Implement safety and operational standards in warehouse and transport activities.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in logistics coordination, trucking arrangements, and delivery management.

• Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.

• Forklift operation experience is an advantage.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
