Administrative Assistant/Officer (Centralised Intake Team- Bedok)

TRANS Family Services is a non-profit organization providing social services since 1979. We have 6 centres across Singapore proving services supporting families in need. As we expand our services, we are looking for positive and like-minded individuals to join our team.

About The Role

• Assist in the administrative and operational needs of the team
• Provide front-line customer/reception service
• Manage walk-in service enquirers and phone queries
• Monitor and respond promptly to email correspondence.
• Screen and verify incoming client and agency information.
• Assist with data entry, system updates, and database maintenance.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor

Candidate Requirements

A. Technical Competencies:

• ‘O’ / ‘A’ Levels or Polytechnic Diploma
• Minimum 3 years relevant working experience
• IT literacy
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good interpersonal skills and communication skill
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good team player

B. Core Competencies:

• Ability in managing telephone/walk-in enquiries
• Ability in using data base
• Ability in office administration

C. Preferred achievements / characteristics:

• Diligence, integrity and resilient under pressure
• Reliable and organised
• Passion in working in the social services
• Openness to learning on the job and manage challenges as it comes
