Job Purpose: The Bar Captain oversee daily bar operations, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain a clean and well-stocked bar area. Also assist with restaurant services when required.

Job Summary:

1. To ensure that guest service is delivered in an efficient and friendly manner using guest names whenever possible
2. To check bar and inventory stock prior to opening, for cleanliness of tables and chairs, and to do all necessary opening/closing duties according to the side work schedule.
3. To use suggestive selling techniques when taking guests’ orders; and to develop a good knowledge of food, beverage, liquor and wine service
4. To be able to prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with SOPs set
5. To pick up and present food and beverages as well as bus, clean and reset tables according to standard operating procedures
6. To operate the Point of Sale terminal correctly and follow all check-closing procedures.
7. To maintain a proactive and cohesive work environment, and to perform restaurant duties as assigned by Captains and/ or Management
8. To follow all policies and procedures, and to comply with the “clean as you go” policy, and to follow all safety policies to ensure a safe work environment
9. To attend all meetings or training seminars as required; and to study and follow the Training Manual
10. Assist with other F&B operations when required

Your Profile:

1. Able to converse with people from different walks of life, providing information and delivering service.
2. Able to handle alcohol.
3. Be available on nights, weekends and holidays.
