About this job

You will support the Team Lead in overseeing finance operations ensuring compliance with policies and strategic alignment with company objectives. The candidate will manage a team of finance professionals, engage with key stakeholders, and help drive the efficiency of processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Team Lead to oversee finance operations, including financial closing, budgeting, taxation, and GST.

  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of financial reports, supported by detailed analysis. Present insights and recommendations to Management.

  • Act as the SAP S/4HANA system administrator and primary point of contact with SAP vendor.

  • Responsible for review and update of finance policies.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and productivity.

  • Provide guidance and advice to team members on financial matters.

  • Manage statutory audit activities and liaise with external auditors.

  • Support ad hoc assignments and cross-functional projects as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with three years in a supervisory role. Public sector experience is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

  • Ability to confidently present to internal stakeholders including Management on reporting decks, policies, and best practices.

  • Proficient in SAP S/4HANA (Finance and Procurement modules), with experience in system enhancements and improvements.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to multitask and deliver accurate work under tight timelines in a dynamic environment.

  • Demonstrated integrity, ethics, and professionalism in all aspects of work.

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
