Marketing Intern

Job Responsibilities

Social Media & Content

• Assist in managing the salon’s social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
• Assist in creating engaging content such as Reels, short-form videos, before-and-after transformations, promotional posts and treatment features.
• Support the planning and scheduling of monthly social media content.
• Assist with basic photography, videography and video editing for social media.
• Research trending content, sounds and creative concepts relevant to the beauty industry.

Marketing & Campaign Support

• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, promotions and festive initiatives.
• Support new service launches, customer acquisition campaigns and in-salon promotions.
• Assist in preparing marketing materials such as posters, digital banners, flyers and other promotional collaterals.
• Coordinate with salon teams to ensure campaigns and promotions are communicated and implemented correctly.

Influencer, KOL & Partnerships

• Assist with influencer and KOL research and outreach.
• Coordinate influencer appointments, content requirements and campaign deliverables.
• Research potential brand collaborations and partnership opportunities.
• Support events, pop-ups and other marketing or partnership activities.

CRM & Customer Engagement

• Assist with WhatsApp, SMS and email marketing campaigns.
• Support customer retention and reactivation campaigns.
• Assist in monitoring social media comments, online reviews and customer feedback.

Market Research

• Conduct competitor research on pricing, promotions, services, social media content and marketing activities.
• Keep updated on lash, brow, beauty and social media trends.
• Research new marketing ideas and opportunities to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed Nitec / Higher Nitec, Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Business, Digital Marketing or a related discipline.
• Students and fresh graduates from ITE, polytechnics and universities are welcome to apply.
• Strong interest in beauty, lashes, brows, skincare, social media and lifestyle trends.
• Familiar with Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
• Creative with a good eye for visuals and social media content.
• Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut or other content creation tools is preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised, responsible and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
