Security Officer (Hotel)

About Us:

Hilton Garden Inn Singapore Serangoon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, team members, and hotel assets.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a diligent and proactive Security Officer to monitor and manage security operations, maintain a secure environment, and provide exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor team member entrance and conduct regular bag searches

- Control goods pass-out procedure for legitimate items

- Manage contractor access and compliance with health and safety policies

- Check goods received outside office hours

- Maintain key management systems and CCTV monitoring

- Patrol hotel premises regularly

- Support evacuation procedures during emergencies

- Monitor suspicious packages and adhere to bomb/terror threat protocols

- Secure hotel facilities when not in use

- Maintain security logs, investigate incidents, and report maintenance/hazard issues

- Manage undesirable behavior professionally

- Greet and assist guests in the lobby, provide luggage assistance to ensure a warm welcome and smooth check-in/out experience.

- Support hotel operations as required

Requirements:

- Min 2 years of security experience in a hotel or related industry

- Possess a valid Security Officer license in Singapore

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Physical fitness and ability to respond to emergencies

- Familiarity with CCTV systems and security protocols
