Director, Test Interface Engineering

We are seeking an accomplished engineering leader to lead and set the technical direction and delivery strategy across a broad portfolio of semiconductor products.

Key Requirements

• Lead, develop and scale a global engineering team supporting development for new-product introduction, silicon validation and production test.
• Define technical strategy, engineering standards, development processes and resource plans
• Oversee the design, review, qualification and release of solutions.
• Ensure readiness for first silicon validation, qualification, yield ramp and high-volume manufacturing.
• Establish and manage supplier partnerships covering capacity planning, quality, cost, lead time and supply-risk management.
• Lead technical supplier reviews, sourcing decisions and escalations when required.
• Manage priorities, project schedules, budget and organisational capability across geographically distributed teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic or equivalent Engineering discipline.
• Typically 12+ years of relevant semiconductor engineering leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead distributed engineering teams and complex cross-functional programmes.
• Strong supplier-management skills, including technical engagement, capacity planning, commercial awareness and risk mitigation.
• Effective communication and influencing skills with technical teams, senior stakeholders and external partners.
