ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

Job Summary

You will manage financial transactions including processing invoices and payments, assist with payroll and reporting, maintain accurate records, support audits, and handle finance-related administrative tasks to ensure smooth financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase invoices and supplier payments to maintain accurate accounts payable
• Prepare and issue customer invoices to manage accounts receivable efficiently
• Record financial transactions accurately using accounting software for reliable bookkeeping
• Assist with payroll processing and maintain detailed payroll records to ensure timely employee compensation
• Manage petty cash and process expense claims to control company expenditures
• Follow up on outstanding customer payments to improve cash flow
• Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial reports to support management decisions
• Maintain accurate financial records and organize filing systems for easy retrieval
• Provide required financial information to support internal and external audits
• Respond promptly to supplier and customer account queries to resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures to uphold standards
• Perform general administrative duties related to the finance department to support daily operations
