Assistant Production Supervisor (MNC I Production Finishing)

• Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 6pm; Friday 8am to 5pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily finishing and post-finishing operations, including AF seasoning, GF seasoning, Special finishing, Felt polish and Glazing to maintain a smooth production flow

• Manage the daily production plan to ensure on-time delivery according to schedules provided by the Planning Department

• Monitor and manage Seasoning chemical stock levels by conducting regular physical counts and coordinating replenishment requests with the warehouse

• Keep all machinery in optimal working condition by coordinating preventive maintenance schedules and reporting technical faults

• Ensure the finished leather color strictly meets quality standards, customer specifications, and matching criteria

• Partner closely with the Dyeing Team and R&D Team to conduct precise color matching and collaboratively resolve any surface or finishing defects

• Monitor process parameters closely, making necessary adjustments to improve batch consistency and reduce defects

• Proactively report departmental issues to the Senior Production Manager, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions

• Collaborate with the R&D team to test and evaluate new finishing recipes, chemical formulations, machinery, and processing techniques

• Ensure all safe working practices are strictly followed in compliance with safety regulations, especially regarding proper chemical handling

Job Requirements:

• Minimum secondary education

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within environment in production finishing

• Extensive knowledge and practical understanding of finishing processes, machines and know-how
