Job Summary

We seek a motivated Tax Associate / Tax Senior to manage corporate tax compliance and advisory for Singapore clients, enhancing technical expertise and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Singapore corporate income tax computations and tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Manage tax compliance for a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring adherence to Singapore tax laws
• Conduct tax planning, advisory, and technical research to support client needs and optimize tax outcomes
• Draft and submit responses to IRAS queries and correspondence to resolve client tax issues
• Monitor tax filing deadlines and coordinate timely submission of all tax documents
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on tax matters
• Stay informed on changes in Singapore tax legislation and IRAS requirements to maintain compliance
• Support other accounting and tax-related assignments as required to meet team objectives
• For Senior level: Review and provide guidance on work prepared by junior team members, including training and mentoring

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related discipline
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with accounting or tax software is advantageous
• 1–3 years of relevant Singapore tax experience for Tax Associate level
• 3–5+ years of relevant Singapore tax experience for Tax Senior level
• Familiarity with Singapore corporate tax and IRAS requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to tax compliance and advisory tasks
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and team members
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
