Shipbroker

Salling Search is currently recruiting for an experienced Shipbroker for a Seafort Navigation. This person will be trained directly by one of the cofounders of the firm, and will be taken under his wing for guidance.

Only candidates who have the below skills and candidates will be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customer base while strengthening relationships with existing clients to expand business opportunities
• Provide timely market updates and conduct research to inform clients and support decision-making
• Communicate clearly and professionally to articulate market insights and negotiate deals effectively
• Work independently to manage brokering activities and meet business objectives
• Conduct detailed market research to gather key data for analysis and strategic planning
• Fix cargo deals focused on profit maximization and client satisfaction
• Leverage an existing network of clientele to enhance business development and close transactions

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in shipbroking or a similar role
• Proven track record with a strong network of clients in the shipping or brokering industry
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets and contribute to company growth
