Quantity Surveyor

JOB DESCRIPTION

· Taking off Quantities, pricing, inking, and calling for sub-contractors quotes for submission of tenders, quotations for additions and alternation works, preparation of variation orders, progress payment claims and final accounts.

· Co-ordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers.

· Work out budgets for projects as well as monitoring of costs on a regular basis and subcontractor’s progressive claims and variation order claims.

· On a progressive basis, you are required to prepare an updated schedule of rates for the various itemized elements of works and to keep the management regularly inform.

· Risk management and calculation of each project taken Procurement advice and assistance, especially during the tendering procedures

· Assist in Tender analysis and agreement of the contract sum

· Detailed knowledge of the past and current interior and construction

· Negotiating and team-working skills

JOB REQUIREMENT

· Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent

· At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is preferred for this position.

· Knowledge of building & construction work

· Good financial and numeracy management skills

· Excellent communication and negotiating skills

· The ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily

· Computer literate in Microsoft Office
