Job Summary

This role involves executing manual, system, and user acceptance testing to ensure software quality. You will design test cases, track defects, and collaborate with stakeholders using various tools to deliver reliable IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate software functionality and performance
• Design detailed test cases and track defects to ensure issues are identified and resolved efficiently
• Utilize JIRA and ALM to manage test cases, defects, and testing workflows for project transparency and control
• Apply SQL skills to query databases for data validation and support testing activities
• Use Power BI and Tableau to analyze and visualize test data for reporting and decision-making
• Employ Postman and Soap UI to perform API testing and validate service integrations
• Leverage Kafka and Confluence to support testing of messaging systems and documentation management
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to report testing progress, risks, and issues, ensuring alignment and timely resolution

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in business analysis including requirement gathering, creating BRD/FSD documents, and developing user stories
• Familiarity with the banking domain to understand industry-specific requirements and compliance
