Job Summary

As a Language Teacher at NOVA Education, you will deliver structured, engaging lessons tailored to international school students’ ages, abilities, and goals, fostering language skills and confidence across speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Japanese, German, French, or Spanish lessons to international school students from Grade 1 to 12
• Design and prepare age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with each student’s proficiency and learning objectives
• Create engaging lesson materials, activities, exercises, and assessments to enhance language acquisition
• Teach core language skills including speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation
• Support students with school assignments and curriculum-based language learning as needed
• Prepare older students for language assessments, examinations, and academic requirements
• Develop students’ conversational confidence and practical communication skills through interactive teaching
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing regular constructive feedback after each class
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and professional learning environment that motivates students
• Collaborate with NOVA Education to ensure lesson content aligns with individual student learning goals

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficiency in Japanese, German, French, or Spanish
• Experience teaching or tutoring international school students, preferably Grades 1–12
• Familiarity with international school curricula and multicultural student backgrounds
• Relevant teaching qualifications, language certifications, or educational credentials
• Patient, engaging, and adaptable teaching style suitable for both younger learners and teenagers
• Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
