We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to support our growing business. This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of the full accounting function, partnering with stakeholders, and contributing to process improvements that add value to the organisation.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the full set of accounts, including general ledger and financial records.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, management reports and sustainability-related reports where required.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to facilitate business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, banks, regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategic finance initiatives.
- Maintain effective internal controls and support risk management initiatives.
- Lead inventory stock counts and ensure the accuracy of inventory records.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and support ERP system optimisation.
Requirements
- ACCA or an equivalent recognised professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a full Accountant role with responsibilities in general ledger, financial reporting and month-end/year-end closing.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Singapore tax regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems. Experience with Odoo will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Meticulous, responsible and able to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications (Advantageous but Not Mandatory)
- Experience in the food manufacturing, FMCG or wholesale industry.
- Familiarity with Odoo or AutoCount ERP systems.
