About this job
- Organizing, planning, coordinating, and monitoring assigned engineering projects are primary project engineer job duties.
- Assigning responsibilities to employee groups based on their skills and monitoring their progress.
- Meeting with and interpreting clients’ needs and requirements on the ground and representing their interests.
- Performing quality control measures on budgets, plans, and schedules, including reporting on the status of the project.
- Implementing the necessary corrective actions after reviewing the engineering tasks.
- Establishing the specifications for the equipment needed for the project.
- Developing a framework for collecting and evaluating data about the project.
- A process for establishing field tests as well as a way to monitor their quality.
- Ensure compliance with codes, policies, practices, specifications, performance standards, and other aspects of the project.
