Our client is a global industry leader in baby care products with top market share in Singapore & ASEAN region. They are located in the Central Region - Easily Accessible.
The Legal & Corporate Affairs Executive will be responsible for:
- Drafting, formatting, proofreading, and maintain contracts, agreements, policies, SOPs, guidelines, and other legal and corporate documents in accordance with company standards.
- Conduct preliminary reviews of legal and corporate documents to identify inconsistencies, missing information, and potential compliance concerns before escalation.
- Support process improvement initiatives by identifying documentation gaps and recommending practical enhancements to policies, SOPs, and internal processes.
- Gather, consolidate, and prepare reports, data, and presentation materials for Management meetings and corporate planning activities.
- Conduct internal and external reviews to identify organizational strengths, weaknesses, risks, and opportunities, and recommend initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate the review, approval, circulation, and acknowledgement of company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate risk assessment activities and support departments in identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational and compliance risks.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors to facilitate internal and external audit activities, ensuring audit requests and supporting documentation are completed accurately and within the required timelines.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments and regional teams to develop and implement action plans aligned with short- and long-term business objectives set by Group Headquarters in Japan.
- Support the implementation of new projects and initiatives to ensure alignment with the organization's strategies, values, and corporate objectives.
- Liaise with external legal counsel on legal and compliance matters, including coordinating communications and following up on the status of ongoing matters.
- Coordinate compliance awareness initiatives by maintaining and updating training materials, policies, and internal communications to ensure employees remain informed of applicable compliance and data protection requirements.
- Monitor relevant regulatory and compliance developments and provide legal, administrative, and corporate planning support for departmental projects and ad hoc assignments.
Requirements
- Diploma in Law, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- 1-2 years of relevant working experience, preferably within the FMCG or related industries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of corporate governance and document control will be an advantage.
