ENGINEER

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for structural steel construction projects.
• Coordinate and supervise structural steel fabrication, delivery, erection and installation works.
• Review structural drawings, shop drawings, specifications and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Monitor project progress, quality and technical compliance.
• Assist with site inspections, measurements, testing and rectification works.
• Identify and resolve technical and site issues.
• Prepare method statements, technical submissions, reports and project documentation.
• Ensure structural steel works comply with approved drawings, specifications and relevant standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in structural steel construction preferred.
• Good knowledge of structural steel fabrication, welding, bolting and erection works.
• Able to read and understand structural and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and relevant engineering software is an advantage.
• Good technical, coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with project and site teams.
• Willing to work on construction sites when required.
