Senior Software Engineer

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, coupled with at least 4 years of experience in software development.
• Candidates with strong practical expertise and proven accomplishments in Software Architecture, Systems Design, or related technical domains may be considered in lieu of formal academic qualifications.
• Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring technical teams, modules, or workstreams within Agile/Scrum environments.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and frameworks, including TypeScript (Angular, React, Next.js), C#, Java, or other relevant technologies based on project requirements.
• Experience working with relational database platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or equivalent technologies.
• Solid understanding of software development best practices, including SDLC, object-oriented programming, RESTful API development, microservices architecture, secure coding principles, software maintenance, and DevOps methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in code reviews, technical design discussions, troubleshooting, solution evaluation, and adoption of software engineering best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, source control systems such as Git/GitHub, and Agile project collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous. Exposure to cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevSecOps practices will be a plus.

Quality & Delivery

• Ability to establish and maintain effective testing strategies across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to enhance application quality, reliability, and performance.
• Experience applying industry-standard practices in software quality assurance, technical benchmarking, and solution evaluation, while adapting approaches to meet evolving project needs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to diagnose complex issues, assess alternatives, and deliver practical, scalable solutions.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, and business teams.
• Proven ability to mentor team members, share technical knowledge, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a mission-driven environment where quality, security, reliability, and business impact are key priorities.
