HR Executive

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and resourceful HR Executive to join our Human Resources team. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our organisational objectives and ensuring our employees receive excellent HR services and support. As an HR Executive, you will be responsible for a range of generalist HR functions, contributing to the strategic and operational aspects of human resources management within Vac-Tech Engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment and selection processes, including job posting, screening, interviewing and onboarding of new employees

• Administer employee records, personnel files and HR documentation in compliance with relevant employment legislation

• Support the administration of payroll, benefits and employee compensation programmes

• Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

• Provide support to employees on HR-related queries, including leave management, contract matters and workplace issues

• Coordinate employee engagement activities, training programmes and professional development initiatives

• Support performance management processes and assist managers with employee relations matters

• Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations and statutory requirements

• Maintain accurate HR databases and prepare HR reports and analytics as required

• Assist with health and safety initiatives and employee wellbeing programmes

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field

• 2-4 years of experience in a generalist HR role or HR-related functions

• Sound knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Singapore

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proficiency with HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion

• Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks

• Customer service orientation with a genuine interest in supporting employees

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

• Certification in HR management or relevant professional qualifications is advantageous
