Production Manager in Foods distribution

Our client of Food Distributor is looking for a Production Manager in Singapore.

The role will be responsible for ensuring that food products are manufactured safely, efficiently, on time, and in compliance with quality and Halal standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan daily and weekly production schedules

• Manage food manufacturing and factory operations

• Coordinate raw materials, packaging materials, and equipment

• Manage production manpower, shifts, and productivity

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, FSSC 22000, and Halal requirements

• Monitor production output, wastage, costs, budgets, and KPIs

• Resolve production delays, equipment issues, and manpower shortages

• Work closely with Quality, Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, and Maintenance teams

• Lead continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives
  

Requirements:

• Experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Factory Manager, or Operations Manager in Food manufacturing or food processing

• Hands-on production planning and factory-floor management experience

• Experience managing production workers and shift operations

• Knowledge of food safety and quality standards

• Experience working in a Halal-certified food manufacturing environment

• A relevant Halal certificate is required

• FSSC 22000, HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, or Lean Manufacturing knowledge would be advantageous
