Quantity Surveyor

• Preparing budgetary cost estimates, pre-quotation estimates, and pre-tender estimates for maintenance-related works and services, including Addition & Alteration (A&A) works.
• Preparing, drafting, reviewing, and amending specifications for quotation and tender exercises, including submission of draft documents to the Authority for review, vetting, and approval.
• Coordinating and attending site visits, site briefings/show rounds, and addressing queries from interested contractors during quotation and tender exercises.
• Verifying and evaluating quotations, including star-rate items, and preparing recommendations for the Authority's approval.
• Reviewing maintenance requirements for new or renewed contracts and incorporating the necessary requirements into tender specifications.
• Managing and administering contracts throughout their lifecycle, including documentation and compliance requirements.
• Settling final accounts with term contractors within two months after contract expiry.
• Reviewing and certifying contractors' progress payments.
• Monitoring and tracking maintenance expenditure against approved budgets.
• Preparing maintenance budgets to support cost allocation, forecasting, and financial planning.

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma or higher qualification from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in quantity surveying, contract administration, tendering, and procurement.
