Accounts Executive

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare and issue invoices and progress billings based on project milestones and agreed fee schedules.
  • Monitor outstanding client payments and follow up on accounts receivable.
  • Review and process supplier and sub-consultant invoices, claims and payments.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow monitoring.
  • Assist with month-end closing and preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
  • Maintain schedules for project billings, outstanding receivables, payables and other accounting records.
  • Process monthly payroll, including salary calculations, CPF contributions, leave records and other payroll-related matters, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Assist with GST reporting, audit schedules and statutory accounting requirements.
  • Liaise with project teams, clients, suppliers, sub-consultants, auditors and external service providers on accounting-related matters.
  • Coordinate the renewal and maintenance of company licences, permits and registrations, ensuring timely submissions and proper documentation.
  • Attend to other ad-hoc administrative and finance-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Experience handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing and bank reconciliation.
  • Experience in payroll processing and CPF submission will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Good attention to detail and able to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in an architectural, consultancy, construction or project-based environment will be an advantage.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: SGD 3,000 – 4,000 per month
