QC Inspector

The incumbent is responsible forsupervising/performing the steel works inspections on site as a third party inaccordance with projects / consultant specifications with reference toInternational standards to support the achievement of the sales targets.

Inspection Preparation Works

Plan the inspection jobs for theassigned project as per approved Inspection Test plans (ITP):

Perform reviewing activities toensure meeting the project requirements:

Inspection Works on Site

Carry out the assigned inspectionjobs as per client requirements:

Resolve any inspection issues:

Completion of Inspection Reports

Prepare inspection reports forsubmission to client:

Submit inspectionreports/certification for review and billing process:

Supporting Duties

Prepare for new tests /certification as per organisation requirement

Prepare /Update the calibrationrecords and internal procedures for audits

Recommend relevant testing servicesto clients

Coach and guide staff on the job

Job Requirement:

Diploma/Degree in Engineering

2 years experience in Building Structural Steel works inspection

Experience in Oil & Gas shutdownprojects

Able to do punch list and Piping inspection

2 years in construction/marineconstruction and oil & gas.

Certified with AWS CWI/SCWI or CSWIP3.1/ 3.2 - WI
