Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer (PE) to support the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project stakeholders, clients, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. The role will also provide support for Project Management Office (PMO) activities and coordinate annual budget planning exercises.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation measures where necessary.
• Coordinate and facilitate regular project status meetings, documenting key decisions, action items, and follow-ups.
• Prepare project reports, presentations, and status updates for management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project requirements, expectations, scope, and deliverables.
• Track project milestones and deliverables to ensure adherence to agreed schedules and quality standards.
• Support project governance activities, including maintaining project documentation, registers, and records.
• Assist in managing project changes, ensuring proper assessment, approval, and implementation.
• Support PMO activities, including the consolidation of project updates, preparation of management reports, and coordination of PMO meetings.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting exercise by liaising with various business units and project teams to collect, consolidate, review, and track budget submissions.
• Monitor budget utilisation and support periodic budget reviews and forecasting activities.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in project management, project coordination, PMO, or a related role.
• Experience supporting budget planning, financial tracking, or resource planning activities is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, or equivalent is an advantage
