Job Description
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Digital Heritage Associate to support digital heritage, asset management, and research projects.
You will help maintain a growing 3D asset repository and ensure that digital assets and project information are properly organised, documented, and easy to retrieve. You will also support project coordination, quality checks, and knowledge management activities.
Key Responsibilities
Catalogue and organise 3D assets across different projects.
Apply consistent naming, metadata, and versioning standards.
Review and copyedit asset descriptions for accuracy and consistency.
File and maintain digital assets and supporting documentation.
Consolidate files and data at project milestones and project close-out.
Quality-check 3D assets, reports, and project deliverables against agreed requirements.
Identify and follow up on missing information or discrepancies.
Support coordination with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Research publications, case studies, tools, and developments in heritage conservation and digital heritage.
Organise research findings into an accessible knowledge base.
Present key findings to the team regularly.
Requirements
Minimum degree in any discipline.
Strong writing and copyediting skills.
Ability to describe technical or specialised information clearly.
Highly organised and meticulous, with a systematic approach to file management and record-keeping.
Comfortable conducting desk research and presenting findings clearly.
Interest in museums, heritage, conservation, or digital heritage.
Familiarity with 3D assets or software such as Blender, Rhino, or Unreal Engine is an advantage.
Exposure to 3D scanning, photogrammetry, or digital documentation workflows is an advantage.
Open to exploring new ideas and testing new approaches.
