HVAC ENGINEER

· Specialize in the Marine refrigeration and air-conditioning field – Installing and overhauling refrigeration units in merchant ships, oil rigs, and other offshore vessels.

· MRO services, including planning, troubleshooting, diagnosing, minor repair, and a complete overhaul of major OEM marine propulsion equipment

· Includes commissioning of new gearbox involving yard, basin, and sea trials

· Prepare field service report with appropriate photos of before and after repair for the final report to the client

· Able to interpret electrical drawings and perform basic troubleshooting of faults on an electrical system with minimum guidance

· Assist Workshop Manager in preparing parts quotation for Purchaser to procure spares to conduct repair and/or overhaul.

·Conduct daily Tool Box meetings and ensure compliance with workplace safety and health practices

· Supervise/junior coach engineers, where necessary.

· Perform other jobs as required by the Workshop from time to time.
