Operations Executive

Job responsibility

• Coordinate the overall mobilisation plan and implementation schedule for the Jurong Sector rollout.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across Operations, HR, Fleet, Procurement, IT, Finance, Customer Service and EHS.
• Monitor progress, track milestones and escalate risks or delays to management.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, training and competency assessments to ensure manpower readiness.
• Maintain manpower deployment plans, shift rosters and allocation schedules.
• Coordinate vehicle delivery, registration, inspection, commissioning and system installation.
• Ensure vehicles, bins, PPE, tools and operational equipment are ready for deployment.
• Support route planning, validation, trial runs and route familiarisation.
• Prepare route sheets, deployment schedules and operational documentation.
• Liaise with NEA, Town Councils, suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate site visits, inspections, meetings and follow-up actions.
• Prepare mobilisation reports, progress updates, dashboards and presentation materials.
• Maintain records of manpower, training, vehicle readiness and equipment status.
• Coordinate UAT and testing of fleet systems, onboard technology, mobile applications and reporting systems.
• Track defects and coordinate rectification prior to service commencement.
• Conduct readiness checks for depots, vehicles, manpower and operational facilities.
• Coordinate supplies and support mock deployments, emergency procedures and contingency planning.
• Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements.
• Assist in developing SOPs, work instructions and operational guidelines.

Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in operations, logistics, fleet management or project coordination.
• Experience in managing a sizable workforce, including manpower deployment, scheduling and coordination, is preferred.
• Experience in waste management, environmental services or public sector projects is an advantage.
• Strong project coordination and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
